Treatment Services Program

About this Program

We believe every child should have access to the treatments they need to manage diabetes, no matter their family’s financial situation. Our Pediatric Diabetes Treatment Services Program is part of that mission, created to help provide financial assistance to low-income families who struggle to afford essential diabetes medications and supplies.

While this program is still in development as we work toward full nonprofit legalization, it remains a key goal for our growing organization. We’re committed to building the resources and partnerships needed to make this support a reality in the near future.

By helping families access insulin, testing materials, and medical devices, we hope to reduce financial barriers and improve health outcomes for children living with diabetes.

As Amanda Frost, senior researcher at HCCI, explains, “Families are spending more out-of-pocket across the board on all types of services... and it’s just higher use. So when you end up using all of these health care services, you end up with a very personal impact on your wallet, especially if you’re a parent with a child with diabetes” (Rodriguez, 2016). This highlights why financial assistance is so vital to ensuring every child receives the care they deserve.
